My current research interests include MRI physics, biomedical engineering and physiological measurements, mathematical modeling and numerical methods in neuroscience and brain imaging, development of the finite difference and finite element methods for solving biologically relevant problems of mathematical physics, in particular, in electrical impedance and diffuse optical tomography. I received the MS degree in Physics from Moscow State University and the PhD degree in Physics from Institute of Physics, Academy of Sciences, Minsk, Belarus.
Ph.D. Physics 1992, Institute of Physics, Academy of Sciences, Minsk, Belarus.
Diploma Physics 1983. Moscow State University, Russia.
From 1984 to 1999, he was with the Institute of Physics, Academy of Sciences, Minsk, Belarus, where he was engaged in research on nonlinear dynamics in complex systems, including lasers and nonlinear optical devices. Since 2000 to 2003 he worked as a computational scientist in the high tech optoelectronic industry in Silicon Valley, California.
