A fetch hot-spot issue is reported when Freja finds a location in the application that causes large numbers cache line fetches, but where there is no obvious way to improve the behavior. It may still be possible to reduce the performance impact, for example, by adding software prefetches. See Section 5.6, “Final Remedies” for more information.
